Ying Xiong
Assistant Professor of History/Classics, Nanjing University

I teach Roman history and Latin epigraphy in the History Department at Nanjing University. For me western classics can serve as resources for thinking about for reflecting on Chinese historical and political traditions. We want to trace back to the origins and explore why the two cultural traditions are so divergent from the beginning. I would like to see the DCO project to provide us with an anthology of primary sources of Greek and Latin readings for teaching and research.
