Qiang Zhang
Professor of Classics, Northeast Normal University
Director, Institute for the History of Ancient Civilizations

I am a professor teaching Greek and Latin at the Institute of Ancient Civilizations at North East Normal University. I am currently translating Thucydides, and have recently done various translations and commentaries, especially of Greek inscriptions. For me western classics are important because we can know the history of western civilization to better understand the history of Modern Europe.I would like the DCO project to produce grammar manuals for beginners and translations of ancient Greek and Latin sources to allow Chinese scholars to read and use original sources.
